Moth Damage
Moth Damage
It can happen in the best of homes-and often does.
Moths tend to to feed on proteins in dark places where they wont be disturbed. The protein they consume might be natural fiber itself (like cashmeres, wools, etc.) or it could be traces of an invisible stain, perspiration, body oils or human skin cells. We shed over two billions skin cells daily. It stands to reason that folks with extensive wardrobes, many of which they don’t wear on a regular basis, are particularly vulnerable to moth damage.
